Public Service Announcement for those who might not have noticed: The game starts at 5 pm.

Maybe I shouldn't be worried about this game vs. the NHL's top team, on their home ice, a 5 pm start, after a big win where you know the Bolts nevertheless got just absolutely ripped a new one by the coaches afterward. I don't know. Replacing the vibe of a big powerful 5-goal statement win at home vs. a good Bruins team to build a 5-game winning streak is some kind of tentative, please-don't-hand-our-asses-to-us vibe to this one, IMHO. Hope I'm as wrong as I usually am about things involving prediction of future events. Whoever's in net better be sharp as a brand-new Gillette Fusion.
This contest will probably boil down to Ovechkin/Semin vs. Stamkos/St. Louis. Let's get it over w--er, I mean, on ![]()

Nice picture from the team: ball hockey outside the White House http://twitpic.com/3ad5q5
Seems to be a theme when they go up to DC, here's one from earlier in the month: http://twitpic.com/35wbs6 |

They should freeze the Lincoln Memorial reflecting pool and play a pickup game there.

Nice links Sotnos, thanks.
If their was ever a game I think that we could come out and play 60 minutes this is it. This is a team that knows they let up the past 2 games and should be out to show everyone they are for real. |

I wouldn't want to be on Boucher's bad side. There must be laser beams shooting from his eyes in the locker room, based on what we see behind the bench.
Edit: Neat pics BTW, thanks Sotnos. |

Oh man, I am really looking forward to this. I think we'll play well, and the Caps had better look out if they think the same team from last time (or last year(s)) is going to show up. They're cocky bastards, and they're due for an ass-kickin from us. I hope we knock their blocks off.
Maybe a little Downie-Ovechkin renewal as well? |

Per EE: Mike Green won't play tonight nor will Gagne, Gagne most likely won't play tomorrow either.
