Florida’s winning streak was stopped at three games after the Stingrays broke a 3-3 third period tie with 2 goals. Mitch Fadden had a puck deflect off of him into the net for his third goal of the year. He extended his point streak to 6 games with a 2 point night. Hutching tied for the team lead with 6 shots. Former Lightning prospect and Everblades Captain Mike Egener scored his first goal of the year and recently signed winger Nick Tarnasky, also a former Lightning prospect, had an assist in his Florida debut. Egener (pictured) had 11 goals last year for the Ontario Reign of the ECHL. His previous career high was 3 goals with Lightning AHL affiliate Springfield in 2004-2005. This includes his WHL career, also.
