Was looking at the team page for callup info, nothing there BUT...for anyone who may not have seen it, here's a goofy video of Veillieux sorta playing tennis with Andy Roddick. I think Konopka may be eyeing a future career in broadcasting (and you get a good look at his beat up hands).

Win - good
loss - better lottery position - good I figured that winning in ot and giving them 1 point was the best case yesterday. Now if we lose, they stay ahead in the standings - uh behind. We need a hat trick for Stammer and whatever else happens, it's all good

As funny as that is TexasBolt, this team doesn't have players that go to the net besides Ryan Malone. Lots of perimeter players. I wonder what could've been had Malone played all 82 games. Maybe another 10 goals? That could be the difference in a lot of close games. They just didn't bang around in front of the net the way they should have. What gets lost in all the Caps success this season is how many goals were scored from crashing in front of the net by their 3rd and 4th lines. We just don't have enough of those type of players. Sure Marty and Stammer are going to get their stats, but we need a lot more 10-15 goal scorers on the lower lines and we just don't have them right now.
