He may get in a funk and play like crap and fall to us.

He won't fall out of the top ten. I doubt he'll fall out of the top three, to be honest. The Lightning will be picking no higher than about 15. They'd currently be picking 23rd. That's why I mention Clendening.

What about Scott Harrington, Nathan Beaulieu, or Vladislav Namestnikov?

Harrington's at 47, Beaulieu is out of the top-50 (although they have a couple of paragraphs praising him as a part of a St. John's team that Spuddy Gallant is running so well it might have 5 or 6 guys drafted this year), and Namestinikov is listed at 10.

Duncan Siemens might be a good fit on D also. Big and physical, but moves the puck efficiently and skates well.
Here is what eliteprospects.com says about him: A large defenseman with good skating. Plays very physically. Blocks shots and passes well. Offensively decent. Has an ok shot and gives a good opening pass |

Or for a righty shot D-man, Myles Bell from Regina. Bolts scouts might see alot of him since he is a teammate of Carter Ashton.

Siemens is 33 in Red Line, Bell is not in the top-50.
Clendening has 1-5-6 in 12 games for BU so far. Bear in mind, in college, he's playing against players much older than he is.

ISS has Siemens 11th and Bell 23rd. I believe Siemens is falling in the rankings, and Bell is climbing.

Clendening fell to 36th in the new Red Line. He's college based, though, so I suspect a good WJC for USA will vault him back up as it's a fairer representation of his abilities than being an 18 year old freshman playing against players who, in some cases, are 4-5 years older than him.
