OK, after looking at all of the mock drafts, gut feelings, the team's needs stand point, TSN's, and ISS rankings, I am going to pick Nino as who I would pick in the first round. Just my opinion pulling it out of my pea brain. What the hell, it's not like I have any pull with the team.

I still think Skinner would be an interesting choice, although if they plan to take him it would be wise to trade down a couple of spots.

And, as I said, if you're considering Burmistrov and willing to take a Russian, why in the blue hell wouldn't you take Tarasenko instead?

What scares me about these mock drafts is a lot of them have Pittsburgh or Detroit getting Tarasenko. That's just not fair if it happens.

IMO that's likely bias in mock drafting.

If Yzerman really means BPA when he says BPA and Tarasenko makes it past Dudley, he's probably the the BPA at that point in the draft.

Atlanta picks two picks behind us, and yeah, I would think he'd be all over Tarasenko.

This draft does seem like a crapshoot though when it comes to trying to figure out who will get picked when beyond the first 2 spots.
