Save for Boston picking second. No real drama, but hilarity for sure.

Gormley, or El Nino, with an outside shot at Gudbranson imo.

What do you guys think?

El Nino or Connolly. What MacKenzie's poll tells me is that the league doesn't really believe either would be a reach at 6.

Gormley's a lefty shot. That's a problem. If you're going to spend a top-10 pick, you don't want him relegated to the 2nd PP unit by Hedman, IMO. Forbort's a lefty shot, too.

Johansen is an interesting wild card. I'd also put Granlund and Pysyk on the list. If it weren't for the KHL, Tarasenko would be top-5.

Peter Chiarelli is also very excited about Boston's lottery finish.

File this under C for Captain Obvious. Is he getting paid by the tweet?

This.

I was interested in Tarasenko, but after reading that he's under contract with his KHL team next year (and sounds like he wants to play there again), not sure I would draft him that high unless something drastic changes.

Nino's grit gives us another energy guy like Downie to stick on the top lines. I think we need an energy guy to stick with Lecavalier to help get #4 rolling.

Definitely. The hopeful side of me would love to see Nino turn into a Bobby Ryan type player with a bit more physicality to him.
