Picking fourth isn't a horrible thing.

If we want to pick a defenseman, Gudbranson, Fowler, Gormley or Pysyk will be available.

If we go the forward route, Connelly or Nino can still be availalbe.

I don't think that we can go wrong by picking fourth.

I can agree with Tim, Pete, Chad, Sotnos, and Astro all at the same time.

Hall, then Seguin... if somehow we ended up with devine help securing the 1st or 2nd pick.

If we were to somehow be in the position to where Fowler is on the board (3rd), I'd look to trade down with either the 4th or 5th slotted team and holding firm it'll cost them a 2nd this year.

In that 4th or 5th slot if you want to go defenseman, personally I'm taking Gudbranson. If we're going the forward route, and I struggled with this for quite a bit, but I'll be taking Niederreiter over Connolly.

If somehow Fowler, Gudbranson, and Niederreiter are off the board where the Lightning end up, then I'd take Connolly. Not that he's some kissing-your-sister-bleh consolation prize or anything... just my preferences are Hall, Seguin, Gudbranson/Nino, and Connolly in that order.

Anywhere after that, maybe I either entertain taking a shot on Etem or maybe Watson (sticking to primarily wingers). Or like Sotnos said, maybe ring up someone like the Hawks and parlay our first for one of the inevitable cap casualties they have.
