Hah! You're not kidding... I was just thinking that the other day when I saw her freaking grinning face on yet another "book" of hers in our Navy Exchange on base... She has shot to hell just about all of her crediablity, whatever little she had of it because she'd rather live a life like a Hollywood Celeb than a Politician. If this kind of person can get elected to office than I surely should be able to one day.

Just found this. Rep. Hal Wick from South Dakota and 5 other Reps are going to introduce a bill that will make it mandatory that anyone 21 years of age or older, with some restrictions, must purchase a firearm.

He and the others expect, and hope, the bill fails as he only filled it so one can grasp the idea of making someone purchase health care.
when you stop and think about this, it is the best scenario that I think really brings the issue to a head. If the government wants to protect our health, can they also protect us from being a victim of a crime?
