One of the stranger ps I've ever seen...Basically, he was waiting for Lundquist to make the first down or side-to-side move...he did neither...you'd have to make a perfect top corner shot to score with that situation... he did neither...could say it was a 'turning point'...

That was a pathetic attempt by Malkin. He just about stopped skating after he hit the blue line, and shot it right at Lundqvist's left glove. Lundqvist didn't even have to move.

As far as the legitimacy of the penalty shot being called, I'd say I was 65/35 in favor of it being called there. However, I have seen plenty of situations where the circumstances dictated that a penalty shot should be awarded, but wasn't. As usual, there's a consistent lack of consistency in the refereeing.

Hey everyone has an off night and the Rags were due to win one and the Pens to lose one. No big deal at all and now the Pens get to win one at home. Looks like the Pens and the Flyers for the battle of pennsylvania. Which is good for us- does that 2nd come this year or next year?

Default Next Year

I was hoping for this year, but I stood corrected, it's next year. Just hoping since we shipped this year's out to Florida and it now resides in Nashville. It would have been the 31st pick.

I'm hearing that after some compensory picks, the 31st pick is actually going to be the 35th pick.
