Hello Bolts Fans,

David Boquet here. New to the forum and looking for some info. I will be in Orlando from Norfolk for Thanksgiving. That gives me the opportunity to catch the Bolts game either Wednesday or Friday. I'm looking for advice on which is the better pick? Will there be any tailgating other than what's sponsored? What parking is most convenient for my money? Tickets? Looking for cheaper seats. Do you pay all the ticketmaster service charges when you buy at the door? Thanks in advance for any help you guys can give me. I look forward to checking out the bolts. I'll be the guy wearing the Admirals jersey!!!

Meters are the way to park. 75 cents for an hour. They only take quarters so be prepared. You can find the meters north of the rink, and you only have to walk a few blocks.

Tickets......do yourself a favor and buy from the guys selling on the north side of the rink along Nebraska Ave. You can get $100 seats for next to nothing.

Valet park at Channelside if you are going to eat there (Gallagher's or Hooters suggested) and have them validate your parking ticket. Short walk.

Beware, they have jacked some up to $1.50/hour, they did at one of our usual spots. Now...this still might be the cheapest option depending on game time because you only have to feed the meters until 8 pm.

Be careful about that too. Some go to midnight, some 8:00 just a couple of blocks apart.

Really? I've never seen one that goes to midnight, and I've parked in quite a few different spots.

Bottom line I guess is use the meters but make sure you read them, they post all this stuff right on the back.

Hope you enjoy the game(s). I'm going to be doing the opposite (going to see a game at the Scope). Need to get me an Ads jersey!

Not for those games, but for some of you that may want to go later in the season some guy is selling third level Row B (my same row) for like 7 bucks a ticket. Might be a good deal for some of you guys in case we're in the hunt later this season
