Default You SOB

Was there any good reason given for why SOB missed the last handful of games???

Punishment?

Caught partying with Roy??

To increase our chance for Statmos.

Seriously, the only thing I read was that he was the latest in the 'doghouse' so I guess punishment is the answer.

Maybe it's to signal that the guy should be looking for a new job next year?

Barry Melrose has a photo of him on his wall.

Our second line could be Steven and the Rippers.

Oh, I meant OB. Looks like he's being sent some kind of "my way or the highway" message for next season, or even that his services may be needed elsewhere. As I've said before in the last 2 months, I do think it's time for Torts to go. But as Cristodero says, this is unlikely for next year because he has 1 more year on his contract and neither current nor prospective owners seem to have much cash flow.

Based on the poll 67 percent of us want a new coach.
Keeping the coach and finishing last again will not be conductive to positive cash flows. Preaching to the choir, I'm sure.

Will not see a new coach until we have a new owner or Tort's contract expires.

OB apparently wasn't listening and I hope something got through to him. I like OB's confidence and his raw ability. There were maybe 10-15 games this season when he was really, really good. But he had too many bad games, especially after Jan. 1, and took too many unnecessary penalties (instead of moving his feet or anticipating better) that he has to know that he HAS TO improve and is not there yet.
