I was going to guess Miller, but thought he was too much of a pet project for ANA to let go of.

Nice pickup, if so.

Forecaster:

ASSETS: Has an excellent work ethic and above-average offensive instincts. Will play through traffic.
FLAWS: Has been unable to translate his offensive acumen to the pro game. Needs to add a lot of bulk to compete like he can at the NHL level.
CAREER POTENTIAL: Top-six winger.

He's a Spartan. Had 43 points in 44 games his final year there. Decent AHL numbers. A guy who'll compete for a top 6 spot. Not a lock.

They might be compiling top-6 capable guys to battle it out to play with Vinny4 and Tanguay or Sykora?

Miller, Veilleux, Tukonen. etc.

Confirmed per Lightning Twitter -
Quote:
The Lightning have acquired LW Drew Miller and a 3rd rd pick in 2010 from Anaheim in exchange for Evgeny Artyukhin.

Honestly, i'd have to say that would be a great trade.

Hey, it could all click in for Arty some day, but i would think its 70-30 against
if it does, at least it would be in the west

No R2....Tanguay signing imminent.

Imma miss R2, the NHL just wouldn't let him play his game here.
