I think the thresholds are so close together because when this board was started we had no idea if it'd be successful or not, so envisioning someone at higher than 1500 posts was a lofty goal! I'd be all for spacing them a bit, but that's easy for me to say as that's Tim's department & I have no idea if it's a pain or not.

Perhaps it's time to readdress that. When we started the board, we didn't know if anyone would show up and stick around. Seemed presumptuous then to think anyone would post 1500 times... you guys must have nothing better to do...
