A little surprising but Bishop actually came in 10th in the Hart trophy voting. Varlamov came in 4th and Rask wasn't in the top 10.

Johnson and Palat were both named to the NHL's all rookie team along with MacKinnon, Krug from Boston, and Lindholm and Andersen from Anaheim.

Default Dom Moore wins Masterson

damn proud of him and will always support him for the things he has been through. He and Jeff Halpern were two vets I would have liked to seen stay a little longer in TB.

Nah, it's just always such a lame-ass show.

Gotta wonder if playing behind the conference's top team and a defensive stalwart in Boston had anything to do with winning a bunch of those games. Meanwhile,...Bishop's back there by himself getting hacked and steamrolled every night behind the Barnum & Bailey defense, no backup to speak of, it's all on Ben...the game's biggest offensive threat gone for over half the season...and still Ben's numbers are through the roof, and they make the playoffs for the first time in three years. Then, amazingly, without Ben for the playoffs: Broomsburg.

Things that make you go, "Hmmm..." That MVP vote wasn't far astray.
