Longest homestand is 6-games.

7 of 8 final games against in-division opponents. 5 away and 2 home.

Big season coming up - last tie to the mid-aughts glory days gone (MSL), potential successor in the wings (Drouin), already a taste of the playoffs for the youngsters and feted coach overlapping with the last RFA years of our leaders from the 2011 ECF team - the first real temperature-taking moment for the Yzerman Era, in my opinion.

Got about 16 weeks to go - gonna be interminable.

Not sure if I got it 100% accurate, but I counted 12 sets of back to back games and 11 of those were on the road? That seems like an awful lot of back to back games especially when you have to add in travel.

I just heard this AM that the April 7 game with Montreal will have to be rescheduled, as the Forum is hosting the championship game of the 2015 NCAA Women's Basketball finals...wonder who dropped the ball on that one? Whoever at the Forum that gave the NHL the available dates for the building, but how could something like that slip through the cracks??

They are trying to move this game to April 8th. This would give us both another back to back.

12 back to back (13 if the MTL game is moved back one day) tells me one thing. We need a 2nd goalie that can give us better than a .891 sv%. I still like the thought of Reimer on a one year prove it deal.
