Nice raise but this seems like to make the Callahan signing difficult since Palat will get what TJ got and they still need to resign Connolly, Killorn, Brown, Sustr, and Panik.

Good deal, he earned it and he'll still be an RFA once it ends. I now expect Palat to get $3.4-3.7million per.

The rest of the RFA extensions will be far cheaper than these two will be.

I'd like to hear from others on what Palat would get. I find it hard to think that it would be more than TJohnny. Tyler is a center and they seem to be a rarer commodity both in the league and in our system. Am I off base on this? I'd be fine with him getting the same deal as tyler or perhaps a bit less.

I think he'll get identical to TJohnny. Centers should get paid more imo.

Palat asserted himself this season that he is the straw that stirs the drink. Not taking anything away from Johnson but Palat is more valuable to this team at the moment so I see him making slightly more than Johnson.

Fair contract for both sides - nicely done by Yzerman.

Capgeek doesn't have Palat's new contract up. What'd he get?
