I would rather see Pyatt over Teddy. Pyatt brings more of what your looking for from a lower line guy and if he misses 2 point blank goals, no one is as surprised/pissed-off.

Plus, Pacquette has been a master at the face-offs.

I wouldn't mind seeing Carle demoted or sitting in the press-box. He was atrocious last game.
Doesn't matter- Carle won't be demoted or be in the press box. Pyatt should definitely be in the line up- doesn't mean he will be though. Paquette is in there because of his size and face offs. We need that- I think the smurf factor is in play here for cooper- Johnson, Kucherov, and brown all smurfs- throw in Pyatt it might be one smurf too many... Brown and Johnson will play, so since we know Coop won't sit Ted Turnover, unless Kucherov sits ( and he did have a goal in game one), then Pyatt will most likely be out again. But we'll see-If the entire defense can't play 100 times better than they did on Wednesday, it won't matter much.

As fans we're free to have any opinion we want, but we could only hope every single person in the Lightning organization disagrees with you 100%, from the owner to the water boy.

As do I,...for me, one & done ain't no fun. If that's their run, might as well be none

To follow the 2003-04 model, we need to win at least a series to feel really good. Make this a real series at least and don't bow out early..

So, Palat is still a game time decision but it looks like he isn't going to play. Sustr and Pyatt will both take warm ups and one of them will play if Palat can't. Just a hunch but I think he will go with Pyatt if Palat can't go.

On a side note while talking lineups, I don't know why Crombeen isn't in the lineup over Paquette. I know Paquette is a center and Crombeen isn't but still, if you want a physical guy in the lineup I'd rather have a guy that has 400 NHL games of experience including 16 of those in the playoffs. Not to mention Thompson and Crombeen have been very good together and I thought Panik had one of his best games this season on a line with those two against Columbus. I assume it all leads to Paquette being in the future plans and Crombeen isn't, so you want the kid to get experience in this situation. Same reason why I think Pyatt isn't playing, he isn't in the future plans either.

Prolly because Crombeen is not in the future plans, and Paqutte is.

Crombeen is a bad matchup against the speed of the Habs. Against a different opponent, say Boston, I could see him being in the lineup. But not against the counter-attacking Habs

Headed to the game. Go Bolts!

Also, severe thunderstorm warning this evening. A good omen hopefully!
