All I can say is, these two points better not end up in the Pissed Away Column. Somewhere you have to draw a red line and start bringing playoff-level intensity, and a Tavares-free Islanders club is as good an opportunity as any.

I agree that this is 2 points we should have, just like we should have against the Sens that had lost 6 straight and played without Bobby Ryan.

I'll say this, the Isles are playing like a cornered animal with nothing to lose.

They still have the supernatural wonder known as Okposo

I'm glad the Gator game is a late start tonight. Go watch some Bolts at the forum, have fiance hit pause at beginning of Gator game and return home to skip at least the first few of the 186 +/- commercial breaks.

Go Bolts!!!

DC: Bishop will start. Pyatt, Panik, Aulie, and Barberio are the scratches.

Pyatt being scratched makes no sense. Dude has been playing his tail off, and good results too.

Let's just get the 2 points and continue some momentum into the playoffs.

More to do with keeping guys fresh I think. We're probably going to see a lot of shifting of our bottom line the next couple weeks with Panik, Pyatt, Malone, Crombeen, and Kucherov subbing in and out for each other. More physical team with the Isles makes Crombeen and Malone more sensible to play whereas when we play Detroit Sunday those two will be scratched.

Does that mean Kunyk makes his NHL debut?

EE says that Kunyk is scratched too. Okposo may not play for the Isles.
