Default Good article about Cooper

The Bolts just linked this on twitter, very good read (and fun pic of Cooper playing lacrosse in some 80s shorts)

If you look closely, you might be able to see some twig and berries.

I honestly don't know what we were thinking back in the day with the short shorts, especially for sports.

Anyway, hope some people made it past the picture. Cooper has had an interesting path to NHL coach, I knew he had a law degree but didn't realize that he had actually practiced as a lawyer and didn't have a professional coaching gig until a decade or so ago. Quite the rise in the profession.

Aerodynamics?

As far as the article: when you know hockey, you just know hockey. Hard work and intelligence is an outstanding recipe.

Also, I learned there's hockey in Arkansas.

It's always nice to see a lawyer become a productive member of society.

Ha!!

And you know, (BB) in the limited number of pressers I've heard him in, I can understand why the players are into him like fingers in a glove. The guy is so smart, and new age, yet so strong in asking for their all. I am struck by his statements, just about every time he opens his mouth.

Contrast that with all the other old hockey dogs that mouth the same stuff at every opportunity. This guy is really special, and its becoming clear to me why he is so successful.
