Pens will be raising the banner tonight against St. Louis. Do I even bother to watch?

Personally I'm way more interested in Toronto/WPG

Unfortunately, they have lots of fans all over North America. Some of them were even old enough to remember when Crosby was drafted.

They may be old enough they could remember, but most didn't know Pitt had a team until after that. Same as with all of their other sport teams. Hate those fake fans.

So maybe I'm alone on this, but I find the Eichel contract freaking insane. I know he's going to be really good, but $10 mil a year for a kid who has not cracked the 60 point mark yet (and I know, due to injury in part). Man, Kuch is going to be an issue in a couple years.

I'm really holding on to (blind) hope that they (Kuch + agent) meant what they said in that interview "that they're not going to try to break the bank"

With every one of these deals Stammer becomes more and more of a bargain. Hopefully Kuch follows in those footsteps and SY (and Vinik allows again) pulls the signing/annual bonus trick out his hat again to help offset to lower number b/c of tax savings

Is it though? Stamkos has had a major injury in 3 of the last 4 seasons and Kucherov is arguably better than him.
