Exclamation News of the Day

Was looking around and ran upon this article in the Detroit Free Press and was startled by what I read.

Thus I started this thread as I know that many of you must have papers, other than the local ones we read, that have interesting articles that we may not get a chance to see.

So here goes.........

On Christmas Day a suspected terrorist attempted to bring down a Northwest/Delta flight that was about to land in Detroit. During all of the news reports they showed a plane that looked like it had been placed in a remote area of a runway. The plane had the doors open and stairs leading up to the front exit.

What we were not told was that the plane had first gone to the gate and let the passengers off after telling those on the ground that the person only tried to set off fireworks. A supervisor for the luggage crew heard the suspect say what he thought sounded like a bomb was still on board. It was not until someone said a bag was left behind by the suspect did they move the plane from the gate area..............2 hours later!

More in today's Free Press. They have parts of the actual report. Makes one wonder how in the hell some people have jobs today.

Fox News just keeps on rolling. I finding shocking how much the numbers are down at MSNBC and CNN.

From Walt Belcher at TBO.COM:

Quote:
In Prime Time viewership, FNC averaged 2,413,000 viewers (up 22% over January 2009) while CNN logged 842,000 viewers (down 34%) and MSNBC followed with 703,000 viewers (down 26%).

I think the left tends to be younger and less fanatical, therefore most are watching REAL TV shows...

When you're the sole network for 24/7 elitist liberal bashing and you have an all-star line-up of douche-nozzles like Glen Beck, then the ratings make sense.

BTW, did anyone else catch the big overflowing cup of crazy Roger Ailes was spewing over the weekend?

I think their ratings are high because they're more entertaining. Let's face it, even lefties watch Fox News just to blog about it or laugh at it.

Please guys, no politics right now. We got bigger things to worry about. I just heard on the radio Vinny's being traded to the Panthers for Nathan Horton, Corey Stillman, and Keith Ballard plus all our 1st and 2nd round picks the next 3 years! We need all hands on deck.!!!

That is all.
