University of Florida is what we were discussing (basketball).

I'd quit being a hockey fan if I had to watch the Panthers more than the minimum.

Roy has been benched for tonight's game (see Cristdero's blog). He and Torts had a disagreement last game. And, there's an item on the Times website that deals with Boyle's contract. Jacques Demers says Boyle would have been worth 10 points to the Lightning had he not been hurt.
And, as for the "shameful'' comment, why? I've tuned out the Leafs too. Sorry, but I have no desire to abuse myself by sitting there and watching awful hockey, night after night. I watched the Vancouver game and it was great but I'll be damned, family member or not, if I'll sit there and drive myself crazy all the time.

Crap. And I was hoping he and D.J. King would "get to know each other a little better"

Hope this disagreement blows over quick.

Yep, Torts was yelling at him to stop yapping at the Florida bench late in the game. Torts was worried about a penalty. That's happened before. This was probably his third strike.
No big deal. I think everyone overvalues Roy.. I'd trade the guy for a pick and then offer him a $500,000 contract to come back.

Wink

CT, the plight of this year's Lightning and hearing the record company drop Taylor Hicks (an Idol champ) has just been too much for me. LOL.

Eh.. I'm stubborn so I'll be watching the game, or at least have it on in the background while I play Everquest 2, which I recently got convinced into trying out.. I toughed it out during the 50 loss seasons, so this is no biggie.

Yeah, when it comes down to it, I'll have it on as well. I guess I'm just a sucker when it comes right down to it.
