you're conveniently ignoring the fact that denis exists and that no one's a sure thing once you get beyond brodeur

Egener's not a defenseman anymore and he just came back from an injury of his own in Mississippi.

Is fricken Rogers hurt again? I'm about done with that guy.
You mean Egener and Rogers can't play over Rosehill?

Last game we had to endure watching Sundin do literally whatever he feels like and not be penalized, to seeing Toronto-south I mean Carolina pretty much do whatever they want. How could the refs possibly be more fucked up and ignorant as to what is actually happening out there? Primary example, SMith's tripping penalty. The bastard skated straight into Smith, initiated contact, and then fell over Smith's stick. And Smith gets called? Oh, don't forget the travelling XO Sniper, who's shot sent the CAR player twirling violently to the ice after Boyle touched his neck. Un-fucking-believable.

remember a few weeks ago, homer got a similar penalty, & i swear rick & chief said it was the same ref. really just a dumb call imo, if they're close enough to be "tripped" then they're impeding the goalie's movement anyway

If Feaster thought Denis was the solution in net coming into this season, than I am giving him far too much credit. Denis should have been released after last season.

His contract and cap hit would have remained on the books, wouldn't have helped.

yes, a portion of his salary would've been sitting on our cap for 4 years. this off-season i think he'll be bought out. i can't remember if the cap hit is 1/2 remaining salary or 1/2 the buyout price.

Buy out now, I think is 1 million a year for 2 years.
