Expect to see the intensity ratcheted up a few notches, as we need to come out hard and quiet the crowd and get a multi-goal lead that can withstand any dirty tricks and referee shenanigans. I have a sinking feeling the league is going to pull some shit a la the 2011 ECF Game 7 when all of zero penalties were called. Maybe they'll disallow a goal by us or confirm a bad goal by them, but I'm braced for the inevitable bullshit. The only way to overcome it is to take this game from the B's and the refs. Build a multi-goal lead and then hold it. We win Game 3, and Boston will start to come undone.

That might be a blessing in disguise. As far as the players psyche going into tonights game. They go in knowing they cant nurse a 1-goal lead it might motivate them more. I fully agree with you on all accounts. The league does their best to keep teams close in games.

side note; lots of rumors going around with Stamkos dealing with 1-2 injuries. If that is the case why is he even practicing in the pregame skates? If it is as apparent as it is to me he needs to be resting and only doing the bare minimum before the games. just my .02.

interested to see which team shows up tonight.

From NBC Boston.
Here we go, may as well have Trump twitter it.

QUOTE "The playoff assault on the Bruins' centers in the face-off circle is continuing into the second round against the Tampa Bay Lightning."

"I was told in the Toronto series that the issue early on in the series that was brought up by the opposition was they didn't feel the center ice men were stopping, coming to a stop before the puck was dropped," said Cassidy. "That is what the linesmen sort of were instructing both sides, I presume. From there I haven't heard anything else. END QUOTE

So, whats the issue? Gotta get set. When I was refereeing I have dropped thousands of pucks and I required all centers to comply. Its the rules.

Cassidy is going to have 63/37/88 out against 10/91/86 as often as he can. It's going to be ugly.

I think the Bruins were surprised by the hitting the Bolts did in the last game. If they can do that again tonight and score a few goals they should win. Stammer and Kuch need to get on the board for that to happen. And please stop the cross ice passes in the defensive zone.
