I'll be in the minority on this and I know people on here hate Prust, but if Watson really said what Prust claims he said, then he deserves to be suspended, if not fired altogether. No place in the game for an official to verbally berate a player (deserved or not). Give the guy a minor, misconduct, or whatever else, but an official calling a player "a Mother f'ing coward" is way out of line.

Technically yes, but it's more applied to a team instigating (Flames v Cauncks a couple weeks ago). I've only seen it applied to a skater, if the skater was actually given an instigator which Prust wasn't given. I'd expect max fine and a pretty strong warning from the DoPS.

Thoughts on Stamkos re: Injury.

Remember people wondering if he was injured after the seemingly harmless bump with Price in Game 1? After he scored his goal in Game 2, he went through the high-five line with the bench, as normal. He went through it with the bench on his left but rather than using his left hand to high-five everyone, he crossed his body and used his right. Anyone else notice that? Thinking there might be a left hand/wrist injury he's fighting through.

It looked like Morrow ruffled his hair a little; there was barely any contact. It was a mistake on Morrow's part but he was no Dickless Kornhole.

I find it hard to believe that a ref would be that verbally abusive at all let alone so early in the game and without previous problems with Prust. It should be easy for the League to confirm whether or not the ref said those things.

I bet Prust is telling the truth, I'm sure he probably instigated it as well. Truth be told as long as Prust doesn't injure anybody he can stay on the ice, wonder if their coach believes that too and he's a healthy scratch.

Didn't one of TB's old-school bruisers like Ciccone or Poeschek complain about a ref verbally abusing them back in the day?
