Guess Florida learned from us not to let them stick around on the scoreboard.

Bish in net...6 goals on 14 shots. Bolts didn't get the benefit of THAT largess. Cats score FIVE in the second, with Accairi getting the hatter.

Nah, they’re just better coached and harder working is all.

They are the better team this season(to date). That is a tough one to swallow.

Since there’s no thread for the Caps game, I’ll posit this theory here:

Maybe our roster is ill equipped to play this style. Not only are finesse players getting banged around, but their instinct is often to pass up good shots for the chance at a better shot (iow Fancy Plays). The entire team, including coaching staff seems to be twisted in a pretzel of confusion. We can’t just switch back to a wide-open, freewheeling style midway through the season. There’s no going back. But these guys just aren’t performing and therefore aren’t confident, rinse and repeat.

Couldn't agree more. Killorn and Cirelli are the only two who look more comfortable playing this style. Palat as well, but he was injured most of last season so no real comparison there.

Cooper's future depends on tweaking this a bit. This is season 8 for him; way above the average tenure in the NHL.

According to ESPN’s “strength of schedule” metric (SOS), the Lightning have faced the toughest competition in the NHL to date.

Well, we are making it look tough, that's for damn sure.

No doubt. That can make or break a team psychologically.

It seems like every night the opposing goalie looks like a Vezina winner.
