Default billboard sighting

I spotted a billboard featuring Lecavalier on 301 in Manatee County, just north of University Parkway. Slogan is "My game. My team. My town.".

I don't think I've ever seen a TBL sign so far south.

Take a picture and post it on a Habs board.

The billboard has a black background, with Vinny towards the right side. He appears to be in the classic 'national anthem' (<-- that's for you Kid A) pose, with his head down, and his gloves are resting on the butt-end of his stick.

Saw the same billboard northbound on i-75 not far from the fowler exit. Drive that way to work everyday and hadn't noticed it until today.

One on Dale Mabry, too, though obviously not that weird or unexpected. Pretty nice one anyway. Really stands out in the summer.

There are a few pictures of them (the ones with Vinny on them anyway) on the Bolts site:

There's one on US 19 northbound as you come in to Tarpon Springs too. It's a few blocks away from where there used to be a "Seen Stamkos" billboard earlier this summer.

Quick correction: Flip his stick over. The butt-end is resting on the ice/ground and his gloves are on the shaft of the stick, just below the blade.

They really do need the billboards. I don't think there's ever been a time in Tampa where so many teams had this level of fan interest - all three pro teams plus USF football. And the money is running low all around. The Lightning are going to have to seriously compete for the entertainment dollar this fall.
