Well that's not much of a compliment

Agree that it's a great deal, but the folks across the river still think those tickets are too cheap and not a hockey market

I was worried they lost the mojo when they started slipping late in the season. Boy was I wrong. It's like that switch came on again. Jeez.

Getting all of that NHL seasoned talent back probably helped a little too.

Providence lost again tonight, so that series is extended. Could help Syracuse even more.

Now that series is at 3-2, who do you prefer as a conference final opponent? Or does it even matter considering their play thus far?

I probably wouldn't want WBS because if they come from an 0-3 deficit to win that series, it may be a case where they have caught lightning in a bottle. That said, the Bruins have Chris Bourque, who is one of the most dominant scorers the AHL has ever seen and Providence may be the one squad with a chance to keep up with Syracuse in an 80's style track meet.

Providence are missing two of their top dmen in Krug and Bartkowski.

Thats probably unbalanced the WBS series quite a bit.

Sounds like we may have dodged a bullet not having the opportunity to draft Johansen. I'm fairly certain that's who Yzerman really wanted.

I was surprised reading that, as I hadn't really been following Springfield at all (just Syracuse, who I knew well would be capable of rolling over just about anyone). I thought Johansen was outstanding (along with most of the CBJ) late in the NHL season. Sadly, it's not the first time he's followed up a period of great play with a lack of effort.
