I thought Mishkin was a Dudley/Ludzik hire. Didn't he work for the Vipers before they promoted him to the NHL?

Nope, far as I can recall he was in the AHL somewhere before moving up to the Bolts.

(The Vipers' only notable broadcast alumni is John Ahlers, TV guy for the Ducks)

Ahhh... that's it. I was thinking of Ahlers.

Mishkin was with the Ducks, wasn't he? Didn't they switch places, basically, when Ahlers went over?

Maybe I've lost all memory.

From tbl.com...

Prior to joining the Lightning, Mishkin spent eight seasons as the television and radio voice of the AHL’s Hershey Bears.

A 1991 Yale graduate, Mishkin broke into professional hockey as play-by-play broadcaster for the Johnstown Chiefs of the ECHL. While a student at Yale he also worked in the University’s Sports Information Office for the 1990-91 academic school year and served as Sports Director for the school radio station, WYBC, from 1988-91.

So we're back to the original Feaster statement.

Carry on.

I don't think he was a Feaster hire, I doubt the GM would get into that type of hiring. I would guess that Campbell hired him.

Even if he is a Feaster hire, it was a good one.
