Former Lightning netminder Johan Holmqvist stopped all thirty-three shots he faced and Sebastian Enterfeldt scored twice to lead Brynas, which had lost its last five home games, to a decisive shutout victory over visiting Linkopings. As a result, the gap between the two clubs in the league's standings narrowed to just three points. Johan Harju's power play goal early in the third period bolstered the home club's lead to 3-0. On the play, Harju skated unmarked between two defenders to the edge of the crease as the puck was muscled into the opposing corner behind the net to Jonas Nordquist who, with attention fully on him, fed Harju with a crisp pass that found sticktape and made for an easy tap-in. Brynas (10-8-3-6, 42 PTS) travels to face Vaxjo (6-12-6-3, 33 PTS), which has lost six-straight to Brynas, on Thursday.
