You all are certainly living up to the reputation that Tampa fans have earned over the years.

Win a game and we are invincible.

Lose a game and we will be lucky to ever win another game.

After Detroit was totally outplayed in games 1 & 2 there was no way they were coming back. After game 4's crushing loss, some seemed to wonder if they would even show up in Tampa. Now it's all doom and gloom before the game is even played.

A little bit of positive thoughts folks - if not positive, at least stay on an even keel.

Which forward is sitting? Hopefully Paquette.

I also want to know why Paquette, Killorn and Sustr are on the PK? It's the playoffs we need the best out there, Johnson, Palat, Callahan and the big 4 D.

What's funny is, the players are so positive it's almost endearing. I'm not seeing what they are & it's hard to be upbeat but I'm just along for the roller coaster ride at this point. They have pulled off the nearly impossible (Pitts series) and it wasn't all that long ago.

Donnie, are you not familiar with the American sports fan? Because you pretty much described the way most of them behave.

Only Stamkos and Hedman are left over from that feat, though.

I think what holds back a lot of these kids (and Cooper) is they dominated their way to the Calder Cup by being so much better than everyone else. Not much adversity in that run, except for when they got derailed the next year by the Griffins at the very end, by many of the same guys on the other bench right now. It's impossible to be THAT much better than other teams at this level.

All but Cub fan. And Raider Nation to a lesser degree.

When this old curmudgeon has to be the guy saying "be positive" it's bad out there.

I told my kids that I was being a glass half full guy and they just started laughing. They told me that if I won the lottery that my first thought would be that my taxes just went up.

For the doom and gloom, I point back at last year's game 4 vs Habs. This team was down 3-0 and still fought like hell that game and quite frankly were the better team in that game despite starting a rookie goaltender etc etc etc. This team has shown countless times it has plenty of heart and I have little doubt that will show again tonight. There is too much leadership in that room to fold. Will the result match the effort only time will tell. Go Bolts!!!
