You're not allowed to call someone an amphibian. People will get sad.

On an unrelated note, where's Konopka nowadays? I'd like someone to roam around that is actually good at punching people.

We want someone like that and get someone like Paquette and Crombeen.

Team is a pretender. They have no answer for teams like Boston. They played well as a possession team during the game, but nothing incredibly dangerous. PK is atrocious, Dzone is middle of the pack and lower.

This team is a pretender.
The problem with today’s world is that everyone believes they have the right to express their opinion AND have others listen to it.
The correct statement of individual rights is that everyone has the right to an opinion, but crucially, that opinion can be roundly ignored and even made fun of, particularly if it is demonstrably nonsense! - Brian Cox

They legit changed the call at intermission. Also, this was a goal earlier in the year:

+ YouTube Video
ERROR: If you can see this, then YouTube is down or you don't have Flash installed.

There is no excuse for the defensive talent on this team for the d and pk being as bad as they are, but the league should be forced to defend this complete garbage.

If I were Cooper I don't know how I could have avoided getting tossed from the game and fined after BOS got a PP after Rask battered Conacher. Between that nonsense and the bogus no-goal for TB could it be any more obvious how much of a hard-on the league has for BOS?

It doesn't matter. Cirelli shouldn't have tried to play the puck while standing on the goal line. If he had just backed out maybe we score and the game ends up different, who knows. They should do the goalie inference challenges like the PTA in/out challenges with the animated replay. Except have a single die rolling on a crap table.

Bottom line at least it was good to see the boys take a game somewhat seriously. Honestly I don't care if we finish second in the division. This group has never experienced being a front runner or top seed. At little adversity will help them. And frankly I'm not sure I wouldn't rather play Toronto than NJD or the turds in the first round.

At least they tried. Honestly without those stupid mistakes from McDonagh and Killorn at the end of the first it might be a win.

It was a good honest effort from the team last night. But with questionable officiating (how was Rask not ejected from the game as the rule book says and what about his constant slashing of our players wish we could get away with blatant rule violations) and some poor play (what is with all these weak passes that don't make it half way to its intended target) it wasn't a bad game. The team will end playing Toronto in the first round.

We will be playing the first round 7 on 5 and if lucky enough to win will play the second one the same way. This team won't make the conference final, it will try but fall short.

I do not get the games on TV so I have not seen these guys play but read a lot of articles and watch highlights online.

Can anyone tell me, what are they using for a forecheck?

Seems to me that we are giving up way too many goals.
Perhaps its time to go to a one man forecheck and take your chances on a turnover for offensive production.
Rather win 1-0 then lose 5-4.

That reminds me, the Rays post-game ran until around 7:45 on my box and I missed the first 15 mins or so of the first period. Anybody else experience that? Frontier/Sarasota/HD?576?.

It was on Fox 577 in Sarasota.

So is tonight’s game.
There has been so much division in America. Let's remember the things that unite us, the things we all agree on....Soccer sucks. #proudtobeanamerican
