Versus will cover the first round of the draft. Telecast begins 4 PM Pacific (don't know your timezone in Alaska. Sorry!). Day two of the draft... Well, that's where you run into problems. That'd be on NHL Network and you don't get that.
Thank you sir. We are 4 hours behind (EST and 1 hr. PST) in Alaska. It's called Alaska standard time. Alaska is so freakin' big, it has it's own time zone.

Are you opposed to ditching cable for satellite?

Default DirecTV?

I have to still pay for my house in Sarasota, so right now my son and I, are sharing an apartment. The apartment complex doesn't allow a dish. I have DirecTV in Sarasota and I miss it tremendously. My cable company has the NFL network but no NHL network or the CI package.

I think I'll still be in Seattle for day 1. Day 2 on a Alaska cruise. I guess I'll catch up when I get to one of the day landings.

TSN's draft coverage is always a joke. It feels so hokey. They also struggle to show skills in highlight clips. Instead, they just focus on scoring and guys raising their arms in rejoicin.

Don't get me wrong though -- while I have issues with TSN's productions, I have long since sworn off Teh Mouse™ owned ESPN. While I used to watch it religiously daily during the 1990's, the coverage has gone so junk (as well as some of the telecasts) that it's not worth it anymore. I hate the idea that some people believe ESPN should hold cable rights to the NHL. That would be a disaster in tryign to "grow the game".

Default THN versus ESPN

THN is hockey first where ESPN is football first (along with the NBA in which I CAN'T STAND!!). That is my rationale for my thoughts.
