Deangelo knows how to play offense. If he can gain some size and perfect his poke check...we will have hit a home run.
Got plenty of guys to mentor the kid on his poke checking....

Anyone who was there have any comments about how Masin looked in the 3 on 3? I know that format probably isn't the best for showcasing a stay at home defenseman, but I hadn't seen any comments about his play and was curious.

Default Masin

Yeah, I went back to my notes on him, he looked very good on his skates, is quick and uses his body to trap forwards against the wall. I think Pete was right in his assessment, he also has a good shot. 3/3 is not the best for the Dmen, but you have to be quick and take your opponent out of the play, which he did, in that regard the format does show quickness and puck handling abilities which he has.

Wait until he fills out. I like him a lot. He was the real bright spot of that draft class for me.

Peterborough will be a great year for him to develop. Might see him headed to Syracuse a year from now, or he could spend two years with the Petes.
