So the answer is not to put up another Centrist Pro-Corporate tool who talks like a normal person. It's to put up a person who isn't a pro-corporate tool, but has policy that the vast majority of American people agree with.

Just watched a Republican campaign ad for Texas that was 100% social democrat in policy substance...

In gaming news, GuardianCon Charity Live Stream just raised enough money to run St. Jude for one day. $2.7M

One day, we'll have universal healthcare and won't have to rely on GoFundMe-Care we currently have.

Joy Reid's interview with her was sad because of the exact framing you just gave her victory. She immediately frames everything as identity-based. You do the same.

I'd agree with you entirely if this were 2007. A frazzled-looking Jewish grandpa from Vermont with a thick as fuck Brooklyn accent changed the rules far more than you or the establishment want to believe.

I'd add Kaniela Ing as another up and coming Social Dem. There are many others though. As Ocasio-Cortez said, she's one of 60 who are running for office.
What I’m saying is she’s uniquely appealing for THAT area. Doesn’t mean that she’s going to be appealing in Ames, Iowa or Madison, Wisconsin, though. You can pretend her appeal is solely ideological if you want to. That’s fine. But, it’s not, and what sells in Queens and Bronx, culturally, doesn’t always sell in the heartland. And if you really think the typical white voter in Queens is on the same point on the ideological spectrum and culturally the same as in, say, Lansing, Michigan, I’ve got a bridge in a nearby borough to sell you, too.

I’m old enough to remember when Comrade Thirsty was telling us that Kushner had his security clearance and that was a signal that he was probably getting off scot free from Mueller.

Oops, Thirsty did it again.

Here's the easiest way to prove that Ocasio-Cortez's appeal in NY-14 and NY-15 isn't purely ideological:

https://www.nytimes.com/elections/20...aries/new-york

If it were, why did Clinton beat Sanders by a more than 2:1 margin in the Bronx in the 2016 primary and a nearly 2:1 margin in Queens?

And, I forgot to say this earlier, but Crowley needs to GTFO of the race and quit acting like Joe Lieberman. Looked like he was going to step aside gracefully on election night and now he's just looking a fool. There's no shame in the admission that the district he represented has simply changed by leaps and bounds and he no longer is a fit for the constituents there.

Because the people who would have voted for Sanders over Hillary had to have been registered to vote in the primary something like 18months prior to the actual primary day and it's a closed primary. Not to mention, 2015 is not nearly the same as in 2018. There have been 3 years of Social D's getting their policy out.

You have Howard "Sell-Out AF" Dean talking up Joe Crowley as the WFP Nominee too.

Well, hell, whose fault is that? I know, I know, everything is the fault of corrupt party bosses. Everything's a conspiracy.
