He’ll be a fixture on the power play, so I’m sure he’ll be happy here. Also sure his role was discussed before he chose to sign.

If he outplays Serge, he's going to be playing with Hedman. If past is prologue, Serge will have a short leash from Cooper while he's on the top pair.

Correct me if Im not thinking correctly, but what says that the #1 pair and the #3 pair in fact play dramatically different minutes? You know, like 20-22 for #1 vs 16-18 for #3?? (Regardless of who is in fact #1 pair vs #3 pair)..

Yeah I think the big thing that gets Hedman so many minutes is he plays pp and pk, not that he plays all that much more even strength.

Paquette doesn't become UFA for 2 season, so don't think that will be his opening.

Hmmm...true, I believe next season he will need to be exposed to waivers so that will force them to find him a spot.

Dump Truck and Tyler Johnson have both left tonight's exhibition game with injuries and will not return.

Pretty sure Volkov and and Stamkos are a bit banged up too considering they didn't practice the last couple of days.

Obviously we don't know severity, but there is a certain 6'7" center that is still a free agent and has experience in our system. Just saying...

Any of us "fans in the stands" know what the Boiler brings to the table. And Coop does as well. I for one would like seeing him in Bolts blue if he can be fitted in.

Paquette had a sling on after the game and Coop's comments didn't sound very promising. Johnson was taken out for precautionary reasons supposedly.
