Pretty good rankings. How high they are on Raddysh is what stands out the most. Katchouk over ABB is also a curious choice.

Yeah it's pretty close. I probably would have put Volkov starting at 6 and followed him with ABB, Joseph, Raddysh, and Katchouk.

I would have also put Walker higher than 17, but I understand him being put there. I really think he is going to be a special one in a couple years and wouldn't be surprised to see him in the NHL by 2021.

I forgot to mention that the ratings were done before the Erne trade.

I don't really get their methodology. They have Erne at 11, who is a legit NHLer, behind a couple of guys who aren't exactly NHL locks. You would think the guys that are actually IN the NHL would constitute the top 5 or so spots. Then you have guys like Verhaeghe and Masin, who should wind up on the NHL roster as early as the end of training camp ranked behind guys that likely need at least another, maybe two seasons to get to that level. I understand potential, but at some point actual accomplishment should trump potential, however great.

I think they are undervaluing Erne, Verhaeghe, Stephens, Masin, and maybe N. Foote and are overvaluing Katchouk and Raddysh. Technically C. Foote also, since they have him up amongst current NHLers when it doesn't look like he's going to make it to the show until later in the season. I think Dennis Yan could probably be dropped completely. Guy has played his way down to the 4th line in Syracuse. That doesn't sound like a top 25 prospect to me, much less a top 25 under 25 guy.

This is based on reading reports (here and elsewhere) and watching the big club. I don't really have time to watch the AHL or dig up college and junior games.
