The third period has looked like the Sharks are playing against an AHL squad. The competition is not on the same level between the two teams.

Well I guess that's what it looks like when you get totally outclassed (except for Smith). Only good news of the night is, the Rays got so rain delayed that the Bolts game is over & they haven't started yet so we'll get to see the whole game.

Before it comes up: Tuesdays game vs. the Leafs isn't on Sun, but it should be on CI.

Was the most physical game i have seen the lightning ever play, but they could not get the damned puck through the neutral zone. Have to be kidding me.. And then whey they got into the offensive zone they stopped playing..

Did Vincent Lecavalier dress tonight? I don't remember seeing him play...

Good thing we got that new shut down defenseman in there or it could have been a lot uglier eh?

(Not that I'd really pin much on Malik's performance tonight.)

OK, where have the put the real St. Louis and Lecavalier? I've seen them for a period or two this regular season, but otherwise, they're MIA. They seem like they've never played together before.

When R2 is the most exciting thing to watch almost all night, then something's wrong. No offense to R2.

Trust me, they never had anything going at any point in the game despite what it may have appeared like on TV. Someone should tell Stamkos that when he goes in to forecheck its a good idea to actually be in some sort of position to steal the puck from a defenseman rather than bouncing off of them like rubber and watching as said defenseman makes a play around him because his stick is nowhere near the ice to make a play on the puck. Not impressed.

That hit Arty made on Goc was unreal. Goc tried to get up and spun right back to the ice and then gingerly walked off. To my knowledge he didnt play after that.

Lecavalier and St. Louis look terrible, plain and simple.

Oh and Malik is a gigantic pusswad, though its not like we didnt know that already. If he got a credit for a hit in that game it wouldve been from accidentally bumping into the glass all by himself.
