I bet his players, while they understand, are feeling hurt by this move.

This was not unexpected. Has been a topic on Sirius NHL radio for quite some time.

Ovechkin can stop playing defense now....

He went on to sat that the would have a better room with both gone.

Now Hoffman goes to Florida and a 7th-round pick for Florida's 2019 second round pick, 2018 fourth round pick and 2018 5th round pick (CORRECTED). Of course the 'Turds would welcome a toxic asset. ESPN's Greg Wyshinski says the Sens were asking for a blue-chip prospect and 1st-round pick for Hoffman at the last deadline. Holy fall from grace!

Think it was a little more than a 7th. Ottawa are the ones hurting here to be sure.

I don't think there is any proof yet that Hoffmans fiance was the one cyberbullying, they are already guilty in the minds of many

Per The Score:

Hoffman went to Florida in exchange for Florida's 4th and 5th round this year and Florida's 2nd round in 2019.

From what I've read, at least three other players wives/girlfriends have tweeted their lack of surprise regarding the allegations. Also consider that getting a restraining order isn't something done lightly, or without evidence as far as I know.

That's not proof, but everything is leaning that direction.

Oilers have contacted the Senators about Karlsson, even though they say it would be a long shot.

Nothing has been served, it takes nothing to apply for a restraining order.
