For those who may have missed it in the usual daily avalanche of insanity:

Quote:
Breaking: Government Accountability Office says Trump administration broke the law when it withheld US security aid to Ukraine. In its decision, GAO said WH violated Impoundment Control Act, which says funds appropriated by Congress cannot be withheld by WH.

Remember this when the GOP lickspittles try to claim impeachment is wrong because "no laws were broken".

It's an all-star cast that Trump is sending up to defend him from impeachment:

- OJ and Jeffrey Epstein lawyer Alan Dershowitz, currently being sued by a woman who claims Dershowitz was involved in partaking in Epsten's underage sexcapades.

- Pam Bondi, corrupt former Florida pol who took a bribe to ditch the state's Trump University investigation and who was photographed with good old Lev Parnas.

- Jay Sekulow, who is now implicated as having tried to steer Parnas to Trump-friendly attorneys who put the POTUS' interests ahead of their client's.

- Reviled ex-Clinton impeachment prosecutor Ken Starr, who last was seen resigning from Baylor after ignoring multiple sexual assault reports against female coeds perpetrated by Baylor athletes.

It's a murderer's row of disgraced legal minds. Why stop there, GOP? Throw Rudy on there while you're at it.

Florida Supreme Court upholds poll tax to keep the poor from voting.

So, let’s see if I understand American democracy. The guy who gets 3 million fewer votes wins and is allowed to appoint justices that approve laws that were enacted solely to prevent future free and balanced elections in an attempt to keep the guy who got fewer votes in power.

And Florida democracy is that when the majority of voters say they want something, the legislature is allowed to ignore the will of the people in order to remain in power and the justices, who are appointed by the legislature, will also ignore the will of the people to also remain in power.

It seems to me that the wrong side has the guns.

A disgrace. That payback was necessary before voting rights are re-established is not in the amendment we voted on.

Republicans cheat, and it's one of the things you demonstrably can't blame on Trump because their willingness to disenfranchise people's vote pre-dates Trump by decades.

Who was it telling us that the GOP would come to their senses if we elect them as the next Democratic President?

No thanks. I have too many people in my family who rely on SS and Medicare to risk it by voting for Biden.

What's adorable is that the link points to a quote by Mitch McConnell that has fuck-all to do with Joe Biden.

Have I mentioned how funny I think it is for them to cry like their adult bits are sore about another candidate being "dishonest"?

A total invention by a Sanders supporter that is being spread on Twitter by the far left.

Disgusting. No better than far right.
