Default THN The Best of Everything, BOtls all time team

Been a while since I posted over here. Hi, all.

If you've been over to RC, you probably saw today that I mentioned THN's got an All-Time team thing going on with their Best Of Everything issue. The Botls all-time team is listed on pages 158-159:
http://ca.zinio.com/browse/issues/in...16193296&pss=1

There's more worth reading in the issue than their write up about the Bolts, but I think it may be time for Pete, Chad, Tim et al to refresh the BP all-time team. You guys would certainly do it more justice.

For those that don't want to go through the hassle of finding it the team is

Martin St Louis
Vinny Lecavalier
Dave Andreychuck
Dan Boyle
Roman Hamrlik
Nikolai Khabibulin
John Tortorella

2nd Team
Frederick Modin
Brad Richards
Alex Selivanov
Jassen Cullimore
Pavel Kubina
Darren Puppa

Nothing really surprising.

Alexander Selivanov is a all time, top 12 Tampa Bay Lightning member? That's not the slightest of surprises?

I would put Brad on the first team. *sparks age old Vinny/Brad debate*

It does aggravate me to see Selivanov there, Fedotenko would make more sense perhaps? The dude won us the Cup and was even huger against the Flyers. There might even be a case for Roli over Puppa, considering how far he took us into the playoffs, but that might be a disservice to poor ol' #93 that didn't have as good a team in front of him.

I really don't have a problem with the team. I think Puppa easily defeats a 1/2 season Roli. Vinny over Brad based upon both number of years and total production.

But where is Ian Herbers?

He was a fan favorite and he's only on the 2nd team. Really we don't even have enough to fill out two teams, if you ask me, without getting into personal choices.

I would have replaced Selivanov with Brian Bradley and switched Andreychuk with Richards. That's about it.

I second the notion for an updated BP done all-time team. It'd be nice to see where McKenna, Melichar, and Vrbata rank among the masses

Wow, I only glanced-over the list. Bradley's not on there? Selivanov is the easy choice to get the boot.

The only thing significant Selivanov ever did was the OT playoff winner. Which is easily trumped by Feds, Thor, etc.
