![]() Report out of Russia today, repeated by a Washington Post reporter, is that Malkin has been involved in some crpyo money scheme thing and there are some serious legal issues. In documents that have been leaked he's shown as "American investor" which has now fueled loads of speculation.
Malkin was one of the co-founders of a project called ''http://Mark.Space '' in which he invested around $4,000,000. Other investors have lost around 10,000,000 after one of Malkin's partners apparently stole the money. Malkin has not been involved in day-to-day activites of the company. HOWEVER: His signatures are on some pretty significant documents and technically could face jail time if found guilty. It's believed that Malkin wasn't informed or knew about the scam. Just repeating the thread. But on the mark.space Facebook page is a picture of Malkin, who is listed as one of the co-founders at the corporate headquarters in Moscow. Ironically, he is meeting with their chief legal officer. The Athletic just reported that sources close to Malkin said several details of the report are not factual. The sources confirmed to The Athletic Malkin’s involvement in a “business matter that won’t impact Evgeni playing for the Penguins” or “prevent Evgeni from traveling outside the United States.” Also, the sources said, Malkin had already pulled from the startup most of his investment, which the sources stressed was “much less significant than $4 million.” The sources said Malkin was seeking legal counsel to resolve any lingering issues related to that specific business and that he would not be commenting publicly on the matter.

![]() LeBrun reports.
Roman Josi has signed an eight-year max deal worth just north of $9 M AAV per season, making him the third-highest paid D in the NHL. Believe the deal also includes a full NMC which Nashville never gives out. Front loaded structure.
