Default Around the NHL 2019-2020 season

From Friedman's latest 30 thoughts, emphasis added:

6. More from Ken Holland later, but it’s quiet on the Jesse Puljujarvi front. There was plenty of conversation during the summer and some interesting talents made available (Julien Gauthier, Klim Kostin, Alexander Volkov — although he wouldn’t confirm the names), but that’s slowed for the time being. He’s clearly hoping Puljujarvi’s overseas performance drives value.

Great start to the Oilers' season: Adam Larsson has been placed on LTIR with an ankle injury sustained in last night's game.

One game in and the Bruins have already put two Stars in the locker room and another one in the hospital. I wasn’t watching but I’m sure all the hits were perfectly clean.

Not sure on everything, but to be fair, Polak went to the hospital because he missed a hit, not due to anything Boston did.

+ YouTube Video
ERROR: If you can see this, then YouTube is down or you don't have Flash installed.

Also to be fair, Jack Edwards, being the POS he is, decided to call it "Bad Karma."

Edwards is a first class jack-hole but that surprises no one here... I believe I saw a tweet stating that he had motion in all of his extremities, so some positive news at least...

Default Polak

I watched the video and he crashed into the boards after missing a hit, he and the Bruin player both slipped and he went right into the boards. Bruins players showing more class than Edwards send in Polak notes hoping he is alright. I read a report that said he has use of his extremities, a good sign, but no word on how long he will be out. Edwards got called out for his “ bad hockey karma”when talking about the incident. He is such a POS homer.
