I don't think I've ever heard the term "you people" ever used in a way that wasn't a bad move.

Right? Yet the old school crowd is falling all over themselves saying "he didn't mean it like that!"

From some of what I've seen online, the Canadian equivalent of the FCC was absolutely flooded with complaints and a lot of HNIC advertisers were threatening to pull funding, so I guess it's not too surprising.

Surprised it took this long to get rid of him, he's been walking that line for a while now.

They fired him many years ago, but caved to "public opinion". It's a way different Can A Da now. Good riddance.

Cherry didn’t change, society did. In this case for the better.

Bruins blew a 4-0 lead in the third period to the Panthers. You hate to see it.

Obviously hoping to make amends for his offensive outburst, Don Cherry's first appearance since his firing was to ... *checks notes* ... go on Tucker Carlson?

LeBrun is reporting that if Shea Weber retires in the summer of 2025, with 1 year left on his contract, Nashville will incur a $24.57 million recapture cap hit in 2025-26.

And you thought Matt Carle’s dead money cap hit was bad.

TJ Brodie collapsed at practice in Calgary. Standing by himself, fell over and started convulsing.

Reports are he's awake and responsive when they took him to the hospital.
