Nitty was HUGE tonight. And good on them pulling it off even though they couldn't get an insurance goal. Just one of those tight games you have to win with regularity to make it anywhere in this league.

Thrashers broadcasters are speculating that was Kovalchuk's last game as a Thrasher.

Would be interesting if they moved him this early. If they don't get a fantastic return, could give us less competition in the playoff race.

Evidently one of the local radio stations that carries the Thrashers' games was reporting something is in the works. I don't know, specifically, but they mentioned 2-3 times at the very end of the game. They even said he may not get on the plane for their next game which is in Washington.
