Default Bolts take out the Trash 2/2/10

Bolts @ Empty arena Atlanta

7pm start On Sunsport, SPSP for TV or 620-AM radio

Bolts 22-21-11 take on the Thrashers 24-22-8

Niitty is 15-0-0 against them, will he start? Edit: yes he will

5th game of the 6 game season series the Lightning are currently 3-1 in this series.

It should also be noted a win tonight and a loss by the Rangers would put us into either 7th or 8th in the standings, with either 1 or 2 games in hand on most of the teams trailing us. And if the Rangers win and Boston lose we still take 8th.

Lineups:

Lightning
Downie-Stamkos-St. Louis
Malone-Lecavalier-Halpern
Veilleux-Thompson-Tanguay
Fedoruk-Konopka-Foster

Ohlund-Lundin
Smaby-Hedman
Meszaros-Walker

Niitty
Smith

Thrashers:
Kovalchuk-Antropov-Little
White-Peverley-Afinogenov
Kane-Slater-Armstrong
Boulton-Reasoner-Thorburn

Kubina-Enstrom
Bogosian-Hainsey
Salmela-Valabik

Hedberg
Pavelec

Per EE, Fedoruk is looking like he'll be scratched.

I just can not for the life of me understand this staff. 1st they show confidence in Bochenski and reward him with being named as one of the three shooters in the shoot out. Then they bench him for the very next game

makes sense...You can slot Bochenski on the third line and give Tangs someone to pass to..

Fedoruk should just be used ocassionally...He's usually been better the first game back from a layoff..

Bochenski will look down at the puck as it's coming to him, look up, and by the time he looks back down the puck's along the boards 20 feet behind him.

"...you had ... uh... the guy in Washington ... last week..."

Vinny went off with an injury on his first shift, but maybe missed one shift and came back. Coldrice rewound to figure out why and deduced that Bryan Little dove at him a bit.

In a reverse of what was mentioned earlier, it's Fedoruk in and Bochenski out.

Two pretty goals. Shame they couldn't add a power play tally at the end of the period.

Just gotta stay out of the box and be in position where Kovalchuk's obligatory cheap goal doesn't tie or win the game.
