Default Gary Roberts' training (& diet)

Don't think this was posted

So many pros are now turning to him, meanwhile, that Mr. Roberts has had to turn players away. A considerable portion of the league’s young players will be on the diet this season, with potentially as many as 10 per cent of NHL regulars 25 and under eating the Gary way.

Even has a couple of recipes.

I like veggie food and all, but some of this stuff I had to look up.

Didn't see a training breakdown, that is what I'm interested in the most.

Gluten free diet that's the most interesting to me. I know that people have different reactions to gluten.

I know there are some videos floating around, not sure if they give more detail.

I thought it was interesting that he's gotten so many youngsters to buy in! Reading how much interest he's gotten...I wouldn't be surprised if he put a book out in the near future.

yep, hard to figure out how much though. My guess is 10 hours of weights and 20+ hours of high intensity cardio.

Everything must be organic, from deli meats on up, and the 26-item list of what players should eat includes goat’s milk, sunflower sprouts, mung beans, salba, chia and hemp.
No wonder guys are lining up...won't it tend to slow 'em down some, though? j/k

Seriously is this just a Canadian diet then? I dunno about Canada, but here in the good ol' USA ("land of the free"), the gubmint authoritarians have their panty-wad twisted tighter than a New York pin joint about that little ingredient...and those panties are yanked so deep up their collective colon, you can see lace peeking out their nostrils. Even the inert seeds are a naughty no-no per the nanny

Good on ya Gary and the guys, anything to make you leaner and meaner, quicker on the puck is OK in my book
