Listened to SportsNet today and they spent some time discussing how difficult it would be for Tampa under the proposed compliance buyout and cap at $60 million next year. They asked the question of whether players with no movement clauses could be included which would complicate things further. They speculated that the players had to go back with a $65-67 million transitional cap for 2014.

I just noticed that Cal Clutterbuck from the Wild is an RFA this summer and the Wild will mostly likely can't pay him the money he deserves. So he would be a perfect 3rd liner in a lightning uniform Just think about a 3rd line with Malone-Thompson/Pyatt - Clutterbuck. Would be the hell of a 3rd line

According to what I have read there is discussion to allow 2 buyouts that would not be counted as part of the cap or player share. That could prove interesting.
