Christ, I switch to the Belmont choke for two minutes and then come back to hear that Vinny scored - I'm thinking it's 2-2.

Mike must've been uttering some salty language that distracted poor Jarkko.

Default good point

Good point Evan. We really missed Halpern tonight, he really helps make us a better team. We just have no scoring after the top line and Jokinen is showing why he belongs on the lower lines. Lessard belongs in the AHL as does Karlson both are 4th line guys. If Torts is trying to find out who belongs for next year, he can send those two down. We really need a 2nd line, here is hoping that we draft Stamkos, and sign a couple of good UFA's, Rolston would look great skating with Vinny and Marty. Oh well wait and see.

Um, the guy had a multi-point night and that pass to Lecavalier on the PP was solid.

He's got 1 goal and 9 points in the 12 games since he joined the team. He hasn't been awful, and he's currently working on a five game point streak.

I'm perfectly happy with the guy as a complimentary scoring liner. He'll never be your sniper or your playmaker. He'll never be your feature winger. He can play in that Fedotenko role.

Default granted

I understand your thinking Pete and agree to an extent, but I would like someone a bit more dangerous on that line. A complimentary winger is fine, but he has to score at a better pace than Jokinen is at present, that of course could be due to the new situation and teammates and trying to get used to Vinny and Marty. However, even Jay said he was a 3rd line guy and Dallas had him moving between the 3rd and 4th lines. That is not to say that he could be a diamond in the rough and has the potential to be better a la Marty, but so far he has not shown me enough to warrant 1st line playing time.

Do Burr and Ciccarelli still own the Sting?

Lessard was awful tonight.

Ruutu's soccer rush-in was hilarious.

The Lightning are simply the opposite of clutch in their defensive zone.

That's all I've got.
