Default 02.04 Lighting at Wild

The Good Guys(32-18-5) vs. WILD (29-21-7)

TV: Sun

Start Time *** 8 pm ***

The Lightning will be looking for their 17th road win of the season tonight, which would tie them with the New York Rangers for the most road wins in the Eastern Conference. If they can salvage two points Tuesday in Minnesota they would also conclude their current four-game road trip at .500.

Bishop should be in net! (#Bishplease)

#tblightning head coach Jon Cooper said he expects Filppula to be fine and in the lineup tonight vs #mnwild

Appears that Pyatt and Cote are going to be scratched for #tblightning tonight vs Minny and Bishop will start in net

Not only are the Bolts 4-9-1 all-time vs. the "Wild" for a 32% win pct., we have never had even a single season where we finished above .500 against them. Granted, it's only 14 games, but come on. Those odds are just....wild

A win in hockey-mad Minnesota to close out the road trip on the eve of Stamkos's return would send a nice message that they're not going to just coast and wait for their knight in shining body armor to ride to the rescue on white skates or something. With Bishop back and strong as ever following his battle royale with Prust, I like our chances in this game. He absolutely give this club a chance to win every night.

BTW...Logo's OK but those uniforms look dopey, and the team should've been named the Wilds. I've never once heard anybody say in normal conversation "the wild." Ever. ~goofy~

Don't mind me, just thinking about our road record from last season after reading that.

Tampa looked really good the last time they played Minny, keep that going.

Chief comes through with a good quote in regards to penalty calls tonight, "They must have a quota."

Sounds about right based on what I've seen so far.
